After a decade in business, Chrono Aviation has expanded its fleet to 15 aircraft and employs over 200 people. Chrono is a Quebec-based airline offering planes that can accommodate between 9 and 120 passengers, exclusively for charter flights. With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono continues its expansion, reinforcing its position as a leader in the charter flight industry in Quebec and Canada.

 

Role and context

 

The Crew Sheduler is responsible for scheduling and optimizing crew flight schedules in compliance with current regulations, operational needs, and existing contracts. They serve as a key point of contact for managing unforeseen events and improving planning processes. As a vital member of the operations team, they ensure crew availability while optimizing human and material resources.

 

Key responsibilities

 

             Develop and adjust crew flight schedules in accordance with aviation regulations and internal policies.

             Ensure efficient crew allocation based on operational requirements and duty time constraints.

             Supervise and coordinate the management of unforeseen events (delays, absences, emergency rescheduling) to maintain operational continuity.

             Collaborate with the operations, maintenance, and human resources departments to optimize planning.

             Manage crew leave requests and schedule exchanges while considering business needs.

             Monitor and ensure compliance with Transport Canada regulations.

             Analyze trends and propose improvements to crew planning and management processes.

             Generate reports and track key performance indicators related to crew management.

Specific job requirements

             Experience in crew planning or a similar role in the aviation industry is a significant asset.

             Knowledge of aviation regulations related to crew management (e.g., duty and rest time regulations).

             Experience managing unforeseen events and optimizing schedules.

             Demonstrated ability to analyze data and propose process improvements.

             Fluency in French is required for this position. Additionally, a strong command of English is necessary to interact with English-speaking clients in Canada and worldwide.
