Chrono Aviation was founded in Quebec City in 2012. In its early days, the airline operated a Pilatus PC-12 and employed two pilots. Chrono quickly attracted clients seeking a comfortable, efficient, and safe flying experience.

 

After a decade in business, Chrono Aviation has expanded its fleet to 15 aircraft and employs over 300 people. Chrono is a Quebec-based airline offering planes that can accommodate between 9 and 120 passengers, exclusively for charter flights. With bases in Montreal and Quebec City, Chrono continues its expansion, reinforcing its position as a leader in the charter flight industry in Quebec and Canada.

 

Role and context

 

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Quality and Fleet Support Specialist to join our technical operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with maintenance operations and quality control practices while adhering to safety and regulatory standards. The position works closely with the PRMCS, the Quality Assurance Manager (QAM), and fleet management teams to support and coordinate the Maintenance Control Manual (MCM) requirements.

 

Key responsibilities

 

             Ensure maintenance activities comply with regulatory requirements and aviation industry standards.

             Collaborate with PRMCS to implement and maintain quality control processes across all maintenance operations.

             Continuously review and improve the Maintenance Control Manual (MCM) and ensure its rigorous application.

             Conduct internal quality audits on maintenance operations to ensure MCM compliance.

             Support investigations into maintenance incidents and document corrective and preventive measures.

             Analyze fleet data to anticipate maintenance needs and enhance operational reliability.

             Coordinate with technical teams and fleet management to optimize operations and minimize aircraft downtime.

             Prepare reports and recommendations based on audit results and data analyses.

             Participate in management meetings on safety and quality, providing technical insights and updates.

Specific job requirements

 

             Aircraft Maintenance Technician License, M1 or M2 category, issued by Transport Canada.

             Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the aviation or aircraft maintenance industry.

             Strong knowledge of Canadian and international aviation regulations (notably those of Transport Canada).

             Experience in quality auditing and applying quality management systems in aircraft maintenance.

             Proficiency in maintenance management and quality control reporting tools and software.

             Thorough understanding of MCM requirements and updates.

             Ability to analyze technical data to identify fleet maintenance needs and reliability trends.

             Proficiency in French is required for this role, along with a strong command of English to interact with English-speaking clients in Canada or internationally.
